The ashes of Prince Charles Tchkotoua were laid to rest in the beautiful Vera Cementary (one of the oldest cemeteries in Tbilisi)  accompanied by the Georgian National Anthem sung by the Georgian male choir who also performed a traditional Georgian song called "Shavlego" often dedicated to prominent and admired people who have contributed to the history of Georgia. As is traditional, family members were invited to say their farewells whilst pouring a glass of wine on the grave.

Present at the ceremony were:
Ruslan Abashidze
Nino Chutkerashvilli
Nato Marshania
Charles' wife, Helena, her nephew, Philippe Saint-Gilles her children Chalva and Cristina and her grandson. Max Livingstone
